Well-Woman Care

Birth and Women’s Center offers sensitive holistic women’s health care services. These services include routine well-woman exams such as annual physical exams, pap tests and breast exams, as well as family planning and preconception counseling services. We also offer care for the perimenopausal woman including hormone replacement therapy.

Alternative health care remedies for many of these women’s health care concerns are also available to those interested.

Patient education is an important component of our well-woman exams. We offer instruction in self-breast examination and scheduling of mammograms as indicated. We stress thorough instructions in regard to any behavioral changes needed to optimize a woman’s health.

Problem visits are welcomed which may include breast issues, pelvic pain, or simple gynecological problems. If the problem warrants, a referral to our collaborating physicians will be arranged.
