Birth and Women’s Center is a free-standing birth center, located in the Meadows Historical District just three blocks from Baylor University Medical Center. Our facility is a restored prairie-style home—decorated with comfortable, period furnishings reflecting the era of original construction in 1909.

Adjacent to the Center is a beautiful, well-manicured park with a playground and gazebo. Many of our families use the park as an area for walking and relaxation during labor.

With two private birth rooms, we are equipped for a capacity of 20 births per month. A large two-person Jacuzzi in our main birthing room gives mothers the option to have a water birth, or simply to use water as a form of relaxation. Our facilities have been designed to create a safe, home-like atmosphere for you and your family to celebrate the birth of your child.
